Sunday Summary - London Work Experience

Instagram photos of the week L-R - LFW exhibition, nails of the week (Rimmel - Mind the Gap, Victoria), lovely goody bag from Flipside PR.

I missed the last Sunday Summary after having a pretty non-eventful week, but as this week was half term, it's been jam-packed and so of course I had to do one!

On Monday, I started my work experience for Flipside PR in London, which was really exciting because I got to learn more about the industry and it's helped confirm that PR is something I'd definitely be interested in doing after I leave school. I'm not going to go into too much detail about it because I have a whole post coming up! Also on Monday, I got the amazing opportunity to head down to LFW with Thalia. I couldn't make the shows during the day because I had to work but I still got to visit an exhibition in the evening. Again, a post will be coming on this!
On Wednesday, I had another job interview which was exciting too. I actually got a call a couple of days ago and I got it! I'm so so happy! Then on Thursday, during my lunch break I visited a cute little art gallery called Ben Brown Fine Arts. I had to go to one during the half term for my art project and as this one was close by I thought it was perfect. It was quite small with only one exhibition, but I really enjoyed looking at the art.

As for the weekend, on Saturday I got to catch up with one of my oldest friends which was lovely as I haven't seen her in a while. I also had to do some training for my new job. I thought it was just going to be something on the computer but they threw me into the deep end and put me straight onto the tills! It was stressful at times but I did really enjoy it. And lastly, today was just full of chilling out and taking a break after such a busy week (and catching up on homework).
Overall, my week has been crazy busy - travelling to and from London every day has been amazing but also very tiring and it didn't leave a huge amount of time to relax or do school work. It was definitely worth it though! I'd really recommend trying to get work experience in whatever you want to do when you go to uni because it can be really helpful.
