I haven't done a Brand of the Moment post in quite a while, but I really love putting them together and you all seem to enjoy them so I thought I'd do another one - this time focusing on the brand Maybelline. Maybelline is a brand that I've always liked - it's affordable, has a great selection of products and just generally doesn't disappoint! I own quite a few things from them now, and for this post I've picked my favourites to share with you.
Fit Me Concealer - I've been using this concealer for a while now and I love it - it's the perfect consistency for using both under the eyes and on any blemishes, which makes it a good all rounder, and it's a good colour match for my skin too. I'd definitely recommend trying it - it's the only concealer I've used since buying it.
The Falsies Mascara - Maybelline mascaras are well known for being popular - I've tried a few now and this one is one of my favourites. It's very volumising so I like to apply a more lengthening mascara first before applying this over the top. I also like the curved shape of the brush as it helps the bristles really get into the lashes.
Colour Tattoos - Maybelline's eye products are definitely some of my favourites, and the Colour Tattoos in particular have been talked about a lot since they were released. I have two shades - On and On Bronze and Creamy Beige, which is a Leather Effect one. On and On Bronze is great as an eye look on its own, and I like to use Creamy Beige as a matte base to work on top of. Both of them are amazing products and work really well for improving the longevity of eye shadow.
Colour Elixirs - These have also been raved about recently, and I've done a blog post on them which you can see here. They're a lip gloss type formula, but still give a lot of colour and pigmentation which I like. Again I have a couple of colours, but my favourite is the one pictured above, Nude Illusion. It's the perfect everyday shade and a pretty, wearable nude.
Colour Sensational Shine Gloss - Lastly is another lip product, and probably one of my favourites that I own. I have the colour Cashmere Rose, which is an everyday pink, and I also really like that the formula isn't sticky like other lip glosses - it sits really nicely on the lips.

Some of my favourite posts to write and some of the most popular with all of you are my brand of the moment posts, and so I decided it was time to do another - this time on Rimmel! Rimmel is an affordable make-up brand that's readily available in shops like Boots and Superdrug, and they have a huge variety of products to choose from.
Wake Me Up Foundation and Concealer - As I've previously mentioned, this foundation did actually end up breaking me out, however this is probably due to my sensitive skin as it seems to go down a hit with other people. I really liked the formula of this though and I wish I could use it. On the other hand, I absolutely love their concealer! It's amazing for brightening up under eye circles, and it's also a light consistency which I like.
Stay Matte Powder - The Rimmel Stay Matte Powder is some what of a classic powder choice for bloggers, and it's definitely my favourite. As you can see, I have hit pan and will definitely be repurchasing it when it's out. I can get quite oily on my t-zone and so this is perfect for keeping my make-up set throughout the day.
Scandaleyes Eyeliner - This is a slightly newer purchase for me compared to the rest of the products, but I've definitely tested it enough to know that I like it. In general, I'm not a huge eyeliner wearer - I just can't get the hang of it - but using a felt tip like this makes for really easy application so I'm slowly starting to wear it more. I think this is a really great product that will be perfect for eyeliner newbies like me.
60 Second Nail Polishes - As mentioned in my Drugstore Nail Polish Comparison post, Rimmel's polishes are some of my favourites. I love the formula of them and the thick brush makes them really easy to apply. On average, they're opaque in 2 coats and they also dry very quickly. I've actually just been given one of the Rita Ora polishes from my friend which I also can't wait to try out!

Seeing as you all responded so well to my last two brand of the moment posts, I decided it was time to do another one - this time focusing on the brand, MAC. For me, MAC sits somewhere in between drugstore and high end - it's not ridiculously overpriced, but it's not cheap either. However, it's not something I usually buy on a regular basis because there aren't many MAC stores near me at all, so most of these things I have either gotten as a present for Christmas/birthday or I bought at duty free.
I'm not going to go into a huge amount of detail on each of the products, as I have done reviews on most of them before, all of which will be linked below.
Quad Palette - This is the most recent addition to my collection and is already one of my favourites. For some reason, a quad palette is much more appealing to me than a big 15 one, so if I purchase any more eye shadows, I'll probably be putting them in more quads! My favourite and most used colours from my current palette are definitely All That Glitters and Sumptuous Olive - they go perfectly together.
Lipsticks in Creme Cup and Hue - Ahh, MAC lipsticks. For me, these are slightly overpriced, and I swear the price just keeps going up? But despite this, I still love them! The range of colours and finishes seems to go on forever - there's just so many to pick from. My favourite would be Creme Cup, a really pretty and natural pink shade that is perfect for everyday.
Paint Pot in Bare Study - This was my first ever cream eye shadow and I still love it. Bare Study doesn't give a huge amount of colour, but it does make my shadow stay on all day and also adds a bit of sparkle to the look as well. In the future, I'd really like to try out some more of these, especially the one in Painterly.
Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle - This is my oldest MAC product out of everything, and it's definitely the most well loved. I use it every single day in a backwards 3 motion on the side of my face and it adds a lovely, natural glow to the skin. I've had this for probably a couple of years now and there's still so much product left, so it's definitely good value for money.

As you all liked my last 'brand of the moment' post so much, I decided to do another one - this time focusing on the brand MUA (make-up academy). I have a huge amount of products from them, partly because they're so cheap, and so I picked some of my favourites to share with you.
Eye Shadow Palettes in Undressed and Heaven & Earth: I would probably say that MUA are best known for their palettes, and they're definitely my favourite products of theirs. Heaven & Earth is my favourite out of the two I own, because it contains lots of gorgeous natural colours that are great for every day. Despite being very cheap, the eye shadows are still lovely and pigmented and are definitely worth checking out if you haven't already!
Eye Primer: When I first got into using eye shadows, I thought it was best to pick up an eye primer as I do have fairly oily eyelids. I didn't want to go for a high end one, like Nars, straight away, so I picked up this one from MUA which was only around £2. I think you do, to an extent, get what you pay for - but it does prolong my eye shadow wear and at such a cheap price I can't really complain!
Nail Polishes in Pistachio Ice Cream, Lavender and All Nude: MUA nail polishes are, in my opinion, another one of their stand out products! I picked up these back in summer and have gotten so much use out of them since then. They're only £1 a pop, are super fast drying and last a lot longer than some of my more expensive polishes too!
Brow Kit: This is another product from MUA that I absolutely love. It was one of the first brow products I bought, and now I use it every single day! Inside, it comes with 3 different colours (I mix the darker two together) and a wax. The colour is a great match for me, and when applied with my Real Techniques Brow Brush, it gives a nice, natural finish!
Mosaic Bronzer: Lastly is their bronzer. I absolutely love the mosaic effect this has, and I like to use a big powder brush to swirl all the colours together for a bronzed, natural glow. The only downside of this product is the packaging - all the writing has rubbed off and it's also coming off its hinges, but besides that I'd definitely recommend it.
