Sunday Summary - Exams, 17th Birthday

L-R - Daim milkshake and lots of shopping bags, daisy crowns in golf, lovely birthday presents.

This week has been fairly busy, so I thought I'd share what's been happening in another Sunday Summary post!

Last weekend I went shopping with my Dad and picked up lots of lovely bits which formed the majority of my presents. If you fancy seeing what I picked up, check out my last post. This week I also had normal school, which was just as stressful (if not more) as we get closer to mocks and exams, as well as having to give in the final drafts of our coursework. On Tuesday I had another golf lesson as part of P.E, in which we hit a few balls before sunbathing on the grass and making daisy chains and crowns due to the amazing weather - it was a great afternoon.

I also had my Spanish mock speaking exam this week, in which I was lucky enough to get an A! There are only three of us in our class, so we had to listen to all our tapes back which was not fun at all! Then on Friday, we finally broke up for the Easter holidays where we have three weeks off. And then on Saturday, it was my 17th birthday! Most of my presents were from my shopping trip, although I did get a few things from my parents, as well as a voucher from my godmother and a couple of surprises from my amazing penpal Kate. Unfortunately I had to work from 9-6, although luckily for me I do actually quite enjoy my job - they even surprised me with a few presents which was lovely. After getting home, I went out with the family for a meal at Prezzo where I had mozzarella sticks for starter and a pizza for main. Overall, it was a pretty good week!

What have you been up to this week?

  1. Sounds like a lovely week! You got some really lovely things for you birthday and you look so pretty with the flower crown! I take german so I feel your fear of speaking exams, luckily there's more than three of us! Also very jealous of your mozarella sticks.
