Firstly is the Miracle Skin Cream from Garnier. It basically comes out as a white cream but when you start mixing it together, it turns into a foundation colour. It gives a nice, light coverage to the skin and is really hydrating, so it's perfect for summer. It also has SPF which is a nice bonus, and anti-ageing properties (though that doesn't really matter to me). The only thing I would say is that I probably couldn't use it all year round as it is on the darker side, though at the moment it's okay because my skin is a bit more tanned. I would say it's kind of similar to a BB cream, combined with a moisturiser - and so far I really like it.
I also picked up a new moisturiser as my other one was running out. I didn't really have a particular one in mind, but I had wanted to try something from Botanics so I chose their Hydrating Day Cream. The consistency is very watery, but it actually sinks in quite quickly and leaves my skin feeling really smooth and refreshed. I'm not overly bothered my moisturisers - kind of like face wipes - I just use whatever, but this one I've been enjoying a lot. Overall, I'm really impressed - and it's also very inexpensive too which is great.
What skincare have you been trying recently?
